Roxanne Conlin Campaigns in Ottumwa
OTTUMWA, IOWA -- Roxanne Conlin, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, visited Ottumwa on Saturday morning as part of her "Fight To Fix It" tour.
Her campaign is planning to reach all of Iowa's 99 counties over the next few months in an attempt to win the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Republican Senator Charles Grassley.
Among the issues Conlin discussed was Health Care. She said that Health Care affects everyone, even people covered who cannot access the insurance when they need it, stating that the insurance company has "absolute power over whether they can get the treatment that they need."
